Trips Coordinator

Ritambhara (Ritu) Parajuli is from Kathmandu, Nepal. She completed her high-school education at the United World College in New Mexico. Growing up, her parents emphasized the importance of selfless service and community building, and these values have guided both her extracurricular interests and her academic pursuits in the School of Public and International affairs at Princeton. Her thesis examined the challenges of implementing Reproductive Health policies in Nepal after the establishment of democracy. Ritu has devoted her time to volunteering with organizations such as the Red Cross to provide earthquake relief, learning to design an app to increase the accessibility of reproductive health services at Google, and interning at UNICEF to formulate plans and policies to control the COVID-19 pandemic in various countries across the world. The outdoors have been an essential part of her life since she was young. She is excited to work with the OA office as the position combines her love for the wilderness with her passion for making outdoor recreation more accessible and giving back to the Princeton Community.
