OUTDOOR ACTION: “So You Want to Take Your Kids Camping? Tips from Outdoor Action Leader Trainers.”

Outdoor Action Leader Trainers and OA Director Rick Curtis ’79 will deliver a hands-on session that provides basic tips for taking kids out on the trail, gear to consider, and how to handle back-country issues from weather emergencies to animal bites and stings.

2:00 – 4:00 PM

OUTDOOR ACTION: “Rock Climbing & Bouldering for Beginners and Intermediates.”

Come explore the sport of rock climbing at the Outdoor Action Climbing Wall. Experienced instructors will be on hand to teach you the basics. Open to families and children aged 6 and up. There will be two sessions:

2:00 – 3:00 p.m.
3:00 – 4:00 p.m.

Each session will be limited to 20 people on a first-come, first-served basis. Register online at the Alumni Council.

Where is the OA Climbing Wall on campus?

The new Wall will be inside the southeast column on the second level of the football stadium.
