The Princeton University Climbing Team is a recognized club sport that competes in the USA Collegiate Climbing Series (CCS), which runs January-March and includes four competitions, and we also sometimes attend non-league competitions at local gyms and with nearby universities. We belong to the Philly area region and compete against schools primarily within an hour and a half drive from Princeton. The series is evolving and growing in popularity, so stay tuned for more updates!

No previous experience is necessary, and competitions aren’t mandatory, so please feel free to come practice with us even if you’re not ready for competitions. Over half of the team each year is made up of people who started to climb in September. If you’re interested in trying out the climbing team, you can either contact the team captain. We practice twice a week for two hours at the Outdoor Action Climbing Wall, and you’re welcome to come to any and all of the practices that you can make. Please contact the team captain for the current hours. Equipment is provided by Outdoor Action for those who do not own gear.
